35,000 tons of concrete, 750m2 of glass, 180m of LEDs in the arches, 837 sockets, 1,200m2 of vinyl and 46,800 bricks were used in this building to enable us to celebrate the official opening of Samsung Hall, now THE HALL, on 27 January 2017.
We would like to once again thank our numerous guests and visitors who celebrated this milestone with us. At 8 p.m. on Friday 27 January, Samsung Hall was symbolically opened with a golden shower of confetti and a big bang by the host Hans-Ulrich Lehmann. Bligg and Gölä rocked the stage and didn't want to stop playing.
The Loft, with its intimate atmosphere, was opened by Meng Tian. Allen Finch, Shem Thomas and Damian Lynn offered a nice contrast to the party atmosphere in the Hall.
The Club was opened at 10pm by none other than Yokko, who presented their latest single "Heart on Fire" to an audience for the first time. The evening was rounded off by the performance of the Electro-Swing Band Klischée, who invited guests to get dancing.
In order to relive the memories of the opening, we have put together a little video with the highlights for you:
