ISMO is often referred to as ‘Finland's most empathetic comedian’. Now living in the United States, he continues to be the ultimate observer of culture and master of wordplay. His sharp writing and unique brand of humour have quickly earned him fans from all walks of life.
No matter where you are in the world, ISMO has an undeniable ability to see familiar cultural norms in a whole new light! ISMO's WOO HOO! WORLD TOUR kicks off in Australia and New Zealand in November 2024 and will expand to the US, Europe, Canada and beyond in 2025.
ISMO was the first Finnish comedian to appear on CONAN, and the clip of his performance became one of the most-watched late-night sets ever, with over 135 million views! His first appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden earned him an overwhelming response and newfound success, bringing him astronomical growth on social media. ISMO has been touring almost non-stop, performing to sold-out clubs and theatres around the world.
He has attracted big fans such as Gabriel Iglesias, who asked ISMO to open for his groundbreaking special at Dodger Stadium in front of 60,000 fans. Later in 2023, ISMO opened for Gabriel at the O2 Arena in London. ISMO then sold out his own European tour, adding a second show in each city, with plans to return on a larger scale in 2025.
